Big Ol’ Disclaimer
Not Therapy
While I am a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist, all clinical services are separate from Mingle Labs. The goal of Mingle Labs is to take concepts and skills informed by my professional experience and share them with a broader audience through creative, engaging, and accessible educational experiences.
All Mingle Labs events are educational and enrichment-based programs designed to support creativity, self-expression, social-emotional learning, and personal growth through art, discussion, and hands-on activities.
Participation in Mingle Labs does not constitute psychotherapy, mental health counseling, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or any other form of clinical mental health care. Enrollment and participation do not establish a therapist-client relationship between participants, parents/guardians, and the instructor.
Not Confidential
Mingle Labs is intended to be a supportive and welcoming environment where participants can openly explore ideas related to mental health, emotions, and the human experience. While participants are encouraged to treat one another with respect and discretion, Mingle Labs events are not therapy groups and cannot guarantee confidentiality.
Discussions may include thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences relevant to the topic being explored. Children will be encouraged to participate and share in age-appropriate ways, while adults are welcome to use their own discretion regarding what they choose to disclose in a group setting. Participants are never required to share personal information and are encouraged to engage at a level that feels comfortable for them.
Parents and guardians should be aware that group discussions may involve topics related to emotions, relationships, stress, coping skills, and other aspects of mental and emotional well-being. While care is taken to create a safe and supportive environment, personal information shared by participants cannot be guaranteed to remain private.
Mental Health Support
Mingle Labs is not a substitute for mental health treatment. Individuals or families with concerns regarding mental health, emotional well-being, or behavioral functioning are encouraged to seek support from a qualified mental health professional. A helpful place to begin searching for a provider is the Psychology Today therapist directory:
